Andy Conner joined the Johns Hopkins University Office of Investment Management in 2006 as an Investment Officer. His responsibilities have included portfolio management and manager selection in all asset classes. For over a decade he has been a senior member of the team that manages the university’s roughly $4 billion in endowment assets, as well as an additional over-$2 billion in other university financial assets. In mid-2016 he was named Interim Vice President, Investments and Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining the University, Mr. Conner was an Associate at Alignment Capital Group, a private equity consultancy located in Austin, TX. He began his career at SEI Investments, located in Oaks, PA, on the Asset Allocation and Alternative Investments Teams. Mr. Conner holds a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Economics from Lehigh University, has published papers in The Journal of Alternative Investments and The Journal of Private Equity, and is a CFA Charterholder.
